Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. Without having any chief, officer, or ruler, she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest.
- Proverbs 6:6-8
Many of us have very full and busy schedules throughout the year. Because of this, it is crucial that we have a consistent, God-honoring work/rest rhythm. This rhythm happens on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. I outlined strategy for this rhythm below:
30 minutes a day
3 hours a week
6-12 hours a month or a full night stay
3 day annual retreat
Please pray for our family, that our souls would be restored out in God's creation as we take our annual retreat with Him.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. - Psalm 23:1-3
