God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. - Psalm 46:1
We all face troubles of many kinds in life, and I think we all like to be, or at least desire to be, strong and courageous when we face them. However, it gets messy quick when we face troubled times on our own strength. Our strength will fail us. My desire is to have God as my refuge and strength. Praise God we get to lean on Him in our weaknesses. When we are weak He us strong. His strength will not fail.
God,
Thank you for your presence with us. You are our refuge and strength. We need you. Thank you for being so available. We need your ever present help in good times and in troubles. In our weakness, help us to be still and know you are our refuge and strength.
