Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trusting God in the midst of unknown circumstances can be one of the hardest things for us to do. Whether it is our health, our future, or our surroundings, the unknown can be scary. There are so many circumstance in our personal lives and beyond that we will not and cannot fully understand, and the temptation to fear and be anxious is particularly great in these circumstances. However, God does not desire us to live in fear or worry about things we cannot control. Instead, we are called to trust in the LORD with our whole heart, even in the midst of the unknown. When we do so, we can rest in the peace that God is sovereign and understands fully what we cannot. It is a beautiful thing to be able to lean back into the loving and trustworthy arms of the Father, especailly in the unknown. God is sovereign and good in every situation. He wants us to acknowledge Him in all we do, and the unknowns in life are a chance for us to acknowledge Him and glorify Him by obediently trusting Him fully. Join me in trusting the Lord and surrendering the unknown to Him. Let us grow in practicing the presents of God by acknowledging Him in every situation, and resting in the peace that He will direct our paths.
