I met a pastor and his family at a kids camp over 15 years ago. I was the guest speaker and he and his wife were working in the kitchen. They had such a sweet countenance on their faces I asked the camp director if he minded if I met them and spent some time with them. He granted the permission and I found out they were from Kenya and had come to the United States for schooling. When I Learned of some of their needs I asked if they would be open to some deer meat. After donating deer for several years I did some research to see if there was a ministry that connected God‘s natural resources with people in need. I found Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry on my searching. I was impressed with the mission statement of the Ministry and contacted the founder.. after some time in prayer I became the FHFH Coordinator for the Kansas area where I live. God has used FHFH to open so many doors for me to meet farmers, hunters, and Christian meat processors. I’ve also been able to meet ministry leaders from a wide variety of backgrounds as well as Christian businessman and women. All of these experiences gave me and my family as well as those I am discipling a way to be the hands and feet of Jesus on the natural path of life.
FHFH provided 714,000 servings of nutritious meat to local food banks and ministries last year. Over the past 22 years, FHFH has provided 20.2 million servings of meat to the hungry.
