Cassie & Jordan recently got married. It has been a privilege to invest in them over the years as Disciplemaking interns at Extreme Kansas Camp.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” — Ephesians 2:8-10
Cheryl and I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. As we reflect on our past we are grateful for so many things. We are grateful for salvation, spiritual growth, the call to ministry, more growth, good works God planned in advance for us, and even more growth. God is molding and shaping us “His handiwork,” into His likeness.
Early 70’s - Salvation for Cheryl
1976 - Shawn’s salvation
1980 - Called to a life of ministry
1989 - Shawn & Cheryl were married and started a new Disciplemaking home
1990 - Shawn & Cheryl start first full time ministry position
1991 - God started twenty years of children blessings
Present - God’s still molding and shaping us as disciplemakers and helping us create environments for next generation disciplemakers to be encouraged and equipped.
